my first lcdtv 
bought it at tpc (free delivery and at a discounted price).. my first target was a 50″ panasonic plasma but it’s not fullhd and has no 1:1 pixel matching.. i need the pixel matching because my source is a htpc
my favorite specs for this lcdtv is:
some of my movies have high jitters and the cause are bad audio tracks (possibly badly ripped or there is a problem with the internal splitter of mpc-hc) what i did was i used a separate ffdshow for the audio tracks instead of the builtin codecs being used..
i’ve updated my ht setup (htpc tuning).. catalyst 10.7 will be released tom.
pagka galing ko sa opisina kanina dumeretso ako sa eastwood (yes, pumasok po ako) .. pinuntahan ko si koree sa cookbook kitchen at kumain na din ako.. as usual ang una kung titignan sa restaurant ay mga steak nila.. tinikman ko yung general steak nila.. isa lang masasabi ko taste like shit! (nasayang lang P360 ko) bago ko inorder ang steak tinanong ko yung waiter kung ito ba ay grilled (sabi nya oo) edi sige.. nung dumating na patay anlata na parang ni microwave lang at ang tamis!.. inubos ko lang yung kanin at pina-takeout ko nalang (prituhin ko nalang sa bahay masarap pa) at least alam ko na shit ang steak nila (may kanya kanya tayong taste pero para sa aken shit talaga)
pagkatapos kumain lumibot kami sa eastwood (matagal na ako di nakapunta dito at lumaki na yung lugar) naghanap ako ng audio shops pero 1 lang nakita ko at hindi maganda mga binibenta nila.. tumingin na din ako ng mga lcd (marami nagbebenta ng samsung, ang target ko talaga ay lg) tumingin na din kami sa tiangee at nagutom ako sa kakalakad.. hindi pa din nawala yung bad experience ko sa steak ng cookbook kitchen.. pero steak pa din nasa utak ko.. so ano bang meron na steakhouse sa eastwood? isa lang nakita ko.. si best friend sizzling pepper steak.. hindi na ako nag dalawang isip.. moooooove
as usual paborito ko sa kanila yung tenderloin (sawa na ako sa ribeye).. sulat agad ako ng order at pina well done ko.. dumating na yung steak.. nag inspect mode ako… kulang pa.. well done ulit.. dumating ulit yung steak.. inspect.. pwede na!.. lamon agad syempre.. kulang pa isang order ng tenderloin pero sinabihan ako ni koree na hinay hinay lang sa beef.. sige stop na.. next time nalang hehehe

i got my new speakers yesterday thanks to the staff of avshop, they gave me tips and let me audition their speakers .. next target would be a fullhd lcd (led is way too expensive)

nung isang araw bumili ako ng monster cable banana connectors (kelangan ko ng banana plugs para sa speaker at avr) bumili na din ako kanina ng #16 gauge speaker plugs (me so happy) and sa sunday de-deliver na yung subwoofer at polk speakers (me very happy)
nanood kami ni koree kahapon ng toy story 3 (imax), first time ko manood ng imax hehe at isa lang masasabi ko ang mahal! pero sulit naman nag enjoy ako kahit kulang sa 3d (hindi talaga nagamit ng husto yung 3d glasses)
bago kami nanood nag pa audition (testing ito ng mga speakers or audio equipment) muna ako ng harman kardon 160 sa avshop (along kalayaan ave.).. ang ganda yun lang masasabi ko.. naka testing na ako ng denon, yamaha at onkyo (currently ginagamit ko) isa lang masasabi ko iba talaga ang bitaw ng harman.. kaya pina-reserve ko na yung hk160 at kukunin ko na sa tuesday
interesado din ako sa klipsch subwoofer na ginamit.. yung una tinest ay polk hindi ko masyado nagustuhan matapang masyado yung bass pero yung klipsch malinis yung bass

we have a supermicro 7046t-6f and the current debian amd64(5.0.4) won’t detect the sas controller (the supposed driver is megaraid_sas) and i already tried kenshi muto’s backported debian images. windows 2k3 didn’t detect it also so i used nlite to add the drivers supplied by lsi (didn’t tried wink28). currently i’m using win2k3 and testing the machine for production.
there are some drivers for linux on lsi website but only for rhel and sles linux. i haven’t tried rhel and sles and no plans on trying either (hehe). i’m used to debian and win2k3 (i know their ins and outs).
i am badly looking for a debian amd64 installer with a modified kernel (updated the megaraid_sas driver)

bumili kahapon ng bagong shoes (nike lunarglide+ green) si koree at nasabi nya sa aken nakakita sya ng dark knight shoes.. at ako naman tuwang tuwa kasi matagal ko na sya hinahanap sa malls (trinoma, sm north/megamall at shangri-la).. hindi na ako nag dalawang isip tinignan ko at binili ko na baka mawala pa dalawang model lang naman ang gusto ko sa zoom v (lakers away or dark knight)
