msdn connection termination

I got an email from microsoft@newsletters.microsoft.com today. And it states that MSDN will be closed temporarily. Although they will start another program which is similar to the current MSDN but with nice features and ui. Who needs msdn if we've got Google? In fact it's better and faster to search in Google than msdn.

MSDN Connection Termination

Thank you for your participation in MSDN Connection. As a valued customer, we want to give you advance notice of some exciting changes you will see over the next several months. MSDN Connection online service will be transitioned into a new offering later this year that will make it even easier for you to learn about development on the Microsoft platform.

Here's what to expect. MSDN Connection online service will be shut down on July 31th, at which time you will no longer be able to access the MSDN Connection portal. The new program is expected to be launched shortly thereafter based on a phased implementation plan. During this transition phase, please visit the newly redesigned MSDN portal ( http://msdn.microsoft.com) or the local MSDN site for all your support and information needs. We apologize for this disruption in service - we expect the new program benefits will outweigh the inconveniences.

Although the MSDN Connection portal will no longer be available, we will still push through with local MSDN Events. We will update you regarding the upcoming sessions or you could visit msevets.ph as well as msforums.ph for news and announcements.

For those that have taken advantage of the MSDN Connection PTR (Personal Training Roadmap), we will be announcing the program which will be replacing PTR within the next two weeks.
