thunderbird 3 with tab support

According to David Bienvenu [link] thunderbird 3 will support tabs. I haven't tried it yet but tab support is already available in the thunderbird nightly release code. You may download it at the mozilla developer central page [link]. Currently there are issues with tab support eg.

1. The close button doesn't work (though context click | close tab does work)
2. Strange things happen with messages open in a tab if you switch the 3-pane layout
3. The context menu on tabs gets confused if the tab is not selected
