my current vps is gonna expire on oct 8 (i think) so i bought a new one today.. the difference is, this one is a windows vps and the previous one is linux.. i'm going to migrate/re-code all my sites to asp (since my current work is based on microsoft technology.. gets?) anyway 3 of my sites are done (including this shitty blog.. i am using blogengine.net btw).. i've spent most of the time configuring the server (from os tweaks to apps tweaks)
currenty installed apps:
- iis (web server)
- mysql 5.1 (database)
- hmail (mail stuffs)
- bind9 (dns)
server specs:
- located in los angeles, california
- dual quad core xeon (shared)
- 512mb ram (dedicated)
- 30GB storage
- 500GB bandwidth
- 2x static ip's
